Local Police Departments Receive Mask Donations

UKRFCU News Graphic

As Ben Franklin once said, “Well done is better than well said.” Here at UKRFCU, we are committed to our community, which is why we donated surgical masks to local police departments that our UKRFCU branches are part of. We chose the Lower Southampton Police Department, Abington Township Police Department, and the 7th District Philadelphia Police Department.

The credit union philosophy of “people helping people” is more important now than ever as we face these challenging and unprecedented times. During these uncertain times, the health of our members, employees, and the community is our top priority.

Pictured below is Anatoli Murha, Vice President of Retail Operations and Business Development with Officer Staszak of Philadelphia Police Department, 7th District which covers our Somerton Branch.

We understand the importance of sharing during this time when masks are at a limited supply and any bit will help. Instead keeping it for ourselves, we decided to share with the community, especially our frontline workers. While people are home and should be home, first responders and healthcare workers are on the front lines saving lives and protecting our community.

First Responders and Healthcare Workers, we Thank You. We’re in this together.
