With school meals paused for the summer, food insecurity spikes for many Philadelphia families. On July 9, UKRFCU joined 11 local credit unions at the Philabundance Hunger Relief Center, contributing to a collaborative food drive that delivered nearly 4,000 pounds of food and over $56,000 in donations. This united effort reflects the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” and supports Philabundance’s mission to feed over 135,000 individuals weekly across the region.

At Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union (UKRFCU), we pride ourselves on being a not-for-profit financial institution with a mission of helping our members and the community for over 70 years.
