We are proud to join the UNWLA Philadelphia Regional Council and Laurel House for a community food drive in remembrance of the victims of the Holodomor.
The Holodomor, meaning “death by hunger”, was the 1932–1933 genocide committed by the Soviet Union against the Ukrainian people, claiming the lives of 7 to 10 million innocent civilians. Today, we honor their memory by coming together to fight hunger in our own community.
Laurel House provides shelter and support for women and children affected by domestic violence. Your donations will help feed those currently residing at the shelter and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
