The Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union (UKRFCU) is excited to introduce the Student Savers program at the Taras Shevchenko School of Ukrainian Studies. The Student Savers program is a financial education initiative designed to teach students money management habits from an early age. It goes beyond just saving money; it teaches them the value of financial responsibility, planning, and making informed decisions about their finances.

Why Should You Consider the Student Savers Program and UKRFCU Membership?
UKRFCU is offering a “$50-$50 Refer-a-Friend Special” for the Taras Shevchenko School. If you become a new member of UKRFCU, you will receive a $50 bonus. Moreover, for each new member that joins, UKRFCU will donate $50 to the Taras Shevchenko School which will help support the Ukrainian community.

How does the Student Savers program work?
Enroll
Sign up your child at one of our branch locations, by opening an account and registering for our Student Savers program.
Fill Out
Students fill out a deposit form and enclose money for deposit inside. Place deposit envelopes into the Student Saver pouch.
Deposit
You or your child will drop off the pouch with deposit to the UKRFCU representative who will be on-site.
Return
A UKRFCU representative will make the deposit and return the pouch to the Student Saver with a transactional receipt.
