Ukrainian Food & Culture Fall Festival

Friday Community Awareness Post:

St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church (St. Michael’s) was established in 1975 in Jenkintown, PA as a result of a generous contribution of parishioners who mortgaged their homes in order to purchase the property where the church resides today. St. Michael’s Church is the only Ukrainian Catholic Church in the Philadelphia area that follows the Julian calendar, and is an integral part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Outside of the mission of spiritually serving its parishioners, St. Michael’s parish partners with other Ukrainian catholic, orthodox and humanitarian organizations to support the vibrant Ukrainian community of Philadelphia. The parish is also proactive in providing humanitarian support to Ukraine during challenging economic and political times.

All are invited to the Ukrainian Food and Culture Fall Festival on Saturday and Sunday, September 7th and 8th. In the two days of the festival, over 3,000 people attend on 16 acres of beautiful countryside located in Jenkintown, PA. There will be concerts, shows, auctions, a bazaar, dancing to live music, and traditional Ukrainian food. Enjoy non-stop entertainment with Ukrainian performers from the Greater Philadelphia area.

We are a proud supporter of St. Michael The Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church.  For more information about the festival, please click here.
