The Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union (UKRFCU) held its 72nd Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 5, 2025. The meeting took place in person at the Ukrainian Educational & Cultural Center (UECC) in Jenkintown, PA, and was live streamed to our Baltimore, Maryland branch. A total of 72 members and organizations were in attendance, along with guest members of the Board of Directors from New York Self Reliance Federal Credit Union.
The meeting began with a prayer led by Father Mykola Ivanov of Saint Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church.
The theme for the 2024 Annual Meeting was “Championing Our Community.” UKRFCU Chairman Askold Sandusky and Chief Executive Officer Anatoli Murha presented reports, emphasizing the credit union’s commitment to making a meaningful difference for our members and the communities we serve. They also discussed the ongoing proposed merger and consolidation with Self Reliance New York Federal Credit Union. Additionally, our Vice President of Finance, Halyna Keller, highlighted significant membership growth and strong financial performance. UKRFCU distributed over $13.2 million in dividends to our members and supported more than 130 community organizations and events, including initiatives for Ukraine in 2024.
On behalf of the Supervisory Committee, Marc Chuma reported that UKRFCU remains a sound financial institution. Three board members—Anna Lewicky and Roman Petyk—were reelected for three-year terms, and Anatoli Murha was reelected for a one-year term. UKRFCU provided annual reports to all attendees present in person.
